The main street in Calpe is called “Avenida Gabriel Miró“, and here you will find the city’s largest selection of shops. The street stretches from the top of the hill in the old town – and down to the coast. In addition to the main street, shoppers can visit the side streets “Calle Corbeta” and “Calle 18 de Julio” where you will also find some good shops for shopping.

Opening hours in Calpe are from ten in the morning to two in the afternoon. The shops close during the hot summer for a few hours for siesta, and reopen between four and five in the afternoon until eight in the evening. The big supermarkets like Mercadona, Carrefour, and Masymas are usually open from nine in the morning to nine in the evening. Shopping mall La Marina
The La Marina shopping center is located in Finestrat about 20 minutes by car from Calpe, just outside the tourist magnet Benidorm. The center opened in the year 2000, and has around 80 shops and restaurants spread over 3 floors. Here you will find a large selection of fashion clothes, toys, interior items, jewelry, cosmetics, sports equipment and shoes. The most famous fashion brands in La Marina are i.a. Zara, H&M, Mango, Stradivarius, Benetton, Gerry Weber, Massimo Dutti, Bershka and Guess. At the center you will also find Mercadona, Makro, Plus and LIDL. The center has an entertainment department on the top floor with several restaurants, cafes, cinema hall, bowling alley and a separate department with carousels and activities for the children. At Carrefour in Finestrat you will find groceries, electronics, casual clothes, books, DVDs, computers, wine and spirits, and imported international food. Carrefour supermarket is located next to La Marina shopping center in Finestrat. Just a 10 minute drive from Albir, Carrefour is also well worth a visit if you want to buy everything you need in one place.
Carrefour is open seven days a week, from 08:00 to 22:00 in the winter, and from 08:00 to midnight in the summer months. Plan to spend a few hours there, there is and a Cafe for a coffee or a lunch.

In Ondara just outside Denia you will find the Portal de la Marina shopping center. Markets in Calpe
A weekly Saturday market is held in the old town of Calpe, on Avenida Del Norte. Half of the market is devoted to fruits and vegetables, while the other half sells a wide range of goods, including clothing, furniture, leather goods, jewelry, toys and music. The Calpe market is busy all year round and very crowded in high season. Parking can be a challenge on the market, and it is best to arrive early and park a little outside the city (close to the tennis club is recommended). The market usually finishes around 1:30 p.m.
There is also a daily market in Calpe. There you can find new products: On Mondays and Tuesdays you can buy new products for every day, Wednesday is the special day for fruit, olives, vegetables and bread. This weekend there is more of a flea market “Rastro”. Do you have used products for sale? On Saturday or Sunday you can sell them without a sales booth reservation. The private market offers a free sales booth for projects for children or animals. If you are a merchant, you can directly reserve your sales booth on the private market in Calpe. Every morning from 06.00. The private market is located between Avenida de los Ejercitos Espanoles and Calle Eslovenia 6-8 in 03710 Calpe.
A weekly Rastro (flea market) is held in the center of Calpe every Wednesday morning. It is located in Avenida Pais Valencia in front of the Sports Center.
